Sarah (Smith) Wagers at her surprised birthday party. The story of the photo is that Sarah figured something was up with her children and grandchildren because she could see all the activity up and down Granny’s Branch. Therefore, she asked her daughters what was going on and if there was a surprise birthday party. Someone spilled the beans, confirmed her suspension, and told her of the surprised birthday party, so here she is acting surprised.
